It is with great pleasure and excitement that we get ready for the 2017-2018 School Year! Not only does this School year transition us into our 45th anniversary year but we are excited to announce that My School has expanded our offerings, our physical space and our staff! Our new space offers a cooking studio, music lessons and expanded 4-year-old classroom! We have worked hard all summer to ensure that we go into this school year well-organized, prepared and inspired! We have so much to share with you all and look forward to using this new platform to keep you updated on whats going on at My School.
Our teacher workshops were a bit different this year. Our primary focus was the thoughtful set up of our unique, home like enviroment also know as “third teacher” in our approach. Teachers were given considerable time and resources to set up physical elements of their environments such as lighting, natural elements, soft and welcoming spaces as well as busy building and messy art making areas. Additional time was offered to go over tools, resources and protocols that are in place to keep everyone safe, healthy and happy! We look forward to seeing many of you at our classroom visits tomorrow between 11-12 and the rest of you next week for our official start after one more long weekend of summer!
